#179: Celebrity!

Ok, so I thought that I was a celebrity because of my guest post on our photographer's blog. But now I know a REAL LIFE CELEBRITY!

My beautiful friend Jewel Peach (remember her from here?) was on the Today Show this morning! She was interviewed by Meredith Vieira in a segment called "Do Pregnant Moms Overshare?"

I'm gonna be totally honest here. Jewel ROCKED this interview. After watching the roughly five minute long segment, I actually thought the interview as a whole was very positive. Jewel posted a video on YouTube about two years ago, documenting the actual instant she found out she was pregnant. It was such a joy to watch this as a friend, and I thoroughly enjoyed how Jewel documented her entire pregnancy via photos on facebook and twitter. Meredith also interviewed a reproductive psychiatrist, who outlined the pros and cons of sharing pregnancy information on the internet. I thought she was positive and respectful and made valid points about sharing personal information on the web.

Things I love about this interview:
1. How awesome Jewel's hair looks. Seriously loving the new length and color babe!
2. How poised and not nervous Jewel looks.
3. How she made a statement that she and her hubby Jason were pro-life and that they believe that life begins at conception. That rocked my world. Seriously rocked it.

I am so proud to call Jewel my friend. The passion she has for unborn babies everywhere and how unashamed she is in her pro-life stance is an inspiration to me and an evidence of God's grace in her life. So check out the interview and tell me what you think!
