#197: List

I was on The Knot today, reading posts about various things, when another June bride posted a thread titled "what do you have left to do?"

Let's just my list was almost double the lists of some of the other girls. I even got a "OMG is all I have to say. Thank you!"

I posted my extremely long list for two reasons: so that I would actually have it typed out (I copied and pasted it into a document for myself) and so that it would be helpful for other brides who may have forgotten something.

With that introduction, here is my to-do list for the next 52 days (although I'd like it all to be done in the next 45):

-2 more pre-marital counseling sessions
-Write WHOLE ceremony
-Figure out ceremony music (we have none at this point)
-Finish favors
-Make wedding day timeline
-Hair trial
-Makeup trial (DIY)
-Finish Wedding Party gifts
-Programs
-Menu Cards
-Oh yeah, find a florist still. Or at least a floral warehouse. My mom offered to put together my bouquets and bouts.
Final dress fitting
-Take back dress to get steamed week of the wedding(they'll only steam it once for free and I'm not going to be able to keep it wrinkle free for over a month in my house)
-Final vendor payments
-Go over must-have shots list with my photographer
-Finish flower girl's pomander
-Find pillows/something for ring bearers to carry
-Reception playlist (entrance songs, first dance, father/daughter dance and figure out whether or not FI and I are going to sing a song together(!) and then get our favorites list to the DJ and he'll come up with the rest of the music)
-Book Wedding night hotel
-Escort cards
-Guest book
-Get marriage license
-Take decorations to Old Hickory week of wedding
-Rehearsal/rehearsal dinner
-Figure out transportation for everyone (family and wedding party)

 Obviously, there are some things on my list that I can't put here because SOME things have to be a secret :)

So much to do, but it will all get done!
