Obviously, the earthquake and subsequent tsunamis in Japan have been all over the news today. I have been praying for safety for all those affected. Here's how you can help:
1. Text "redcross" to 90999 to make a $10 donation to the Red Cross. It will show up on your next phone bill.
2. Globalgiving.com has established a Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund. You can donate directly on their site. They are working directly with organizations such as International Medical Corps and Save the Children.
3. Pray! Pray for the people affected, pray for the country as a whole, pray for the leadership of the country. Pray for all those who are volunteering their time and money and skills to help those who have been affected. Pray for all the families who haven't found their loved one yet, and for all those who have lost loved ones.
